In Salem, we love our parks, libraries, and the Center 50+ senior center.

Measure 24-514 dedicates funding for these critical community services, ensuring that our parks are safe, clean, and green; restores and maintains hours of service for our libraries; and supports programs, activities, classes, and events at Center 50+ and Salem Parks & Rec.

By dedicating funding to parks, libraries, and Center 50+, existing city funds are freed up to protect police, fire, and emergency response.

Measure 24-514 also requires oversight and regular audits to ensure that funds are spent wisely and effectively.
